n true Death by Aria tradition, step into our haunted house of music, where spellbinding arias, phantoms, and witches summon the night with our superstar cast including mezzo-soprano Nikola Printz, soprano Maria Valdes, tenor Christopher Oglesby and oboist & tenor Jesse Rex Barrett. For this milestone year, the program plunges into the shadows with music from Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Verdi’s Macbeth, Handel’s Julius Cesar, Leoncavallo’s tragic I Pagliacci, and Purcell’s haunting Dido’s Lament. Journey further into the dark depths of the ocean with music that echoes the menacing power of the sea witch, alongside favorite movie classics and even Kurt Weill’s Pirate Jenny.
