PRELUDE AT THE OPERA HOUSE

The Prelude restaurant at the Opera House offers a changing seasonal buffet and elevated a la carte dishes for dining before San Francisco Ballet and San Francisco Opera performances, as well as during intermission. Located on the foundation level of the War Memorial Opera House, Prelude is open 2 hours prior to showtime. Due to the volume of inquiries that Global Gourmet receives, they will only respond if there is an issue with your reservation. Guests with no reservations are gladly seated when tables are available.

Please note that Prelude can only accommodate reservations made more than 5 hours prior to showtime.

North Box Restaurant

The North Box Restaurant is located on the North Mezzanine (Box) level of the War Memorial Opera House and features locally sourced California cuisine with global influences. The North Box Restaurant opens 2 hours before performance times, with the exception of Saturday and Sunday matinees, when it opens 1 hour prior. Dress Circle Lounge

The Dress Circle Lounge on Level 3 (Dress Circle South) of the War Memorial Opera House is open 1 hour before Ballet and Opera performances. Sit back and savor snacks, sandwiches, and drinks.

Café Express

Café Express is on the Lower Level of the War Memorial Opera House and is open 2 hours before curtain. Indulge in small bits and a variety of premium wines and spirits. Browse the sample menu.

TUNING FORK CAFÉ

The Tuning Fork Café, in the Main Lobby of Davies Symphony Hall, is open 1 hour before Symphony performances. It offers a delicious variety of wine, beer, snacks, and gourmet salads and sandwiches. Browse the sample menu.

Café Valor

Located in the Veterans Building Main Lobby, Café Valor proudly serves Intelligentsia coffee, specialty teas, a variety of pastries and gourmet salads and sandwiches. Browse the sample menu.

Global Gourmet Catering is known for specializing in highly customized, large-scale catering, high-end weddings and receptions, intimate fine dining experiences, and for providing the highest caliber concession food and beverage services in the Bay Area.

Performance CONCESSIONS

For San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco Opera, and San Francisco Symphony performances, Global Gourmet will operate pre-show and intermission food and beverage services. There is no service after performances.

For performances at Herbst Theatre, Global Gourmet will operate pre-show and intermission beverage services at the request of the presenter of the performance.

Avoid the lines during intermission at the War Memorial Opera House by pre-ordering cocktails, beverages and snacks by email, telephone (415.861.8150), or with a food and beverage server upon your arrival at any point of service.

Pre-ordering is available for Davies Symphony Hall performances by email, telephone (415.252.1937), or with a food and beverage server upon your arrival.

Dining &
RESERVATIONS

A delicious variety of gourmet salads and sandwiches, snacks, and freshly prepared entrees, along with wine, beer, and cocktails, are available at various dining locations at Davies Symphony Hall and the War Memorial Opera House.

Dining at Prelude restaurant is available to day-of ticket holders for performances at any of the War Memorial performance spaces. Restaurant schedule and reservations available through OpenTable.

Food and beverage services end after the last intermission. Service is not available after the performance.
