The San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center (War Memorial) is a cornerstone of San Francisco’s historic Civic Center district.

Bordered by the Hayes Valley neighborhood, a variety of restaurants and bars are within walking distance.
Our resident provider of food and beverage, Global Gourmet Catering, offers pre-show and intermission service in the War Memorial Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall, and Herbst Theatre. A changing seasonal buffet and elevated a la carte dishes are available before San Francisco Ballet and San Francisco Opera performances in the Prelude at the Opera.
