Accessibility

Service and support animals are allowed in all areas of the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center venues where people are allowed unless the animal poses a direct threat, a fundamental alteration, is not housebroken or is not under the control of the person with the disability.

A service animal is defined as any dog that is individually trained to work for a person with a physical, sensory, intellectual, or other mental disability. Under limited circumstances a miniature horse is also a service animal.

Support animals are animals of any species that are not trained to perform a specific task, but their presence provides assistance to people with psychological disabilities. They help by reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and difficulties regarding social interactions.
