In its final concert of the season, the SF Symphony Youth Orchestra showcases homegrown talent alongside two boundary-smashing symphonists. YO member Dylan Hall’s Scherzo for Orchestra kicks things off with a spark while Ludwig van Beethoven’s innovative First Symphony leans into the bold. Closing things out is Dmitri Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony, which provokes as much as it pleases.
